Job Overview
FNB is looking for a results-driven Sales Consultant to provide exceptional customer service and offer value-added financial solutions within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, achieving targets, and enhancing customer relationships, all while adhering to compliance and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Deliver a positive customer experience by understanding client needs and offering tailored financial solutions.
-Execute work in line with organizational values, ethical standards, and compliance regulations.
-Identify and escalate risks, compliance issues, or process deviations as required.
-Maintain operational efficiency by adhering to processes, procedures, and service turnaround times.
–Achieve sales targets in line with performance scorecards while maintaining an acceptable cost-to-sales ratio.
-Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities to grow the client base and increase revenue.
-Assist with acquiring and retaining unbanked clients to improve profitability.
-Promote cross-selling by offering packaged financial solutions aligned with client needs.
-Encourage digital adoption and self-service banking options across the client base.
-Manage administrative tasks, reporting, and client data accurately and on time.
-Contribute to cost efficiency by responsibly utilizing work-related resources.
-Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to enhance customer service.
-Provide quality customer support, ensuring that service standards and expectations are consistently met.
Qualifications & Experience
–Business Degree (or equivalent qualification).
–2 COPs (Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance).
–1-2 years of experience in Sales, preferably in financial services.
-Strong knowledge of FirstRand-approved financial products, application processes, and fulfillment procedures.
-Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
