Job Overview

FNB Botswana is looking for a driven and customer-focused Relationship Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will manage client relationships within the Banking Sub-Segment, proactively grow the business, and deliver value-adding financial solutions tailored to meet customer needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Growth and Sales Strategy:
    • Define and implement a portfolio growth strategy aligned with segment-specific targets.
    • Proactively source new business opportunities and deliver tailored financial solutions.
    • Develop and execute sales initiatives to achieve and exceed growth targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Identify customer needs and deliver customised financial solutions while cross-selling additional products.
    • Build and maintain a wide network of business and social relationships to generate ongoing revenue.
    • Arrange networking events, seminars, and other activities to foster strong customer relationships.
  • Target Achievement:
    • Proactively drive sales and portfolio targets to meet organizational objectives.
    • Monitor and track sales performance to ensure sustained growth.
  • Service Excellence:
    • Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations by providing proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering guidance on value-added financial products.

Candidate Profile

  • Education and Experience:
    • Proven experience in managing client relationships, with a strong focus on sales and portfolio management.
    • In-depth understanding of financial solutions and customer needs analysis.
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and deliver value-driven solutions.
    • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities to leverage business opportunities.
