Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Sales and Service Consultant to join our team in Gaborone. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, offering tailored product solutions, and promoting the use of digital and self-service channels. This position aligns with our brand promise, “How can we help you?” and focuses on creating positive, ethical, and impactful customer interactions.


Key Responsibilities

-Provide an outstanding customer experience by addressing customer needs, expectations, and concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.

-Offer relevant product solutions and direct customers to the correct channels (eChannels and self-service options).

-Uphold ethical conduct and adhere to the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles in all interactions.

-Identify customer needs and proactively sell or cross-sell products to meet those needs.

-Maximize opportunities for channel optimization and encourage customers to migrate to digital and self-service platforms.

-Support cost containment and reduction initiatives through efficient service delivery.

-Consistently comply with internal policies, procedures, and risk management guidelines.

-Complete transactions efficiently and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.


Requirements

  • Experience: Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
    • Proficiency in digital tools and eChannels is an advantage.
  • Attributes:

  • Education: A relevant qualification in business, sales, or a related field will be advantageous.
