Overview
We are seeking a dedicated General Assistant to join our team. This role is integral in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by providing excellent service and maintaining an organized store environment.
Responsibilities
–Customer Assistance: Provide accurate product information, assist customers in choosing products, and demonstrate usage.
–Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction with a friendly attitude.
–Promotions: Inform customers about sales and special offers.
–Transaction Handling: Process cash and card payments, issue receipts, and manage refunds and exchanges accurately.
–Stock Management: Receive deliveries, organize products, track inventory, and restock shelves promptly.
–Store Maintenance: Dispose of waste properly, assist with stock takes, and clean designated areas including storerooms and kitchens.
–Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures, including emergency protocols.
Requirements
–Customer Service Skills: Ability to greet customers warmly, offer assistance, and answer questions with a positive attitude.
–Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication to share product information and promotions.
–Attention to Detail: Ensure shelves are neatly stocked and products are readily available.
–Organizational Skills: Manage stock efficiently and keep the store environment clean and organized.
–Cash Handling: Experience in processing payments and handling transactions accurately.
