Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Reach Truck Driver for our day shift. This full-time, permanent position requires you to work six shifts per week, including Sundays and public holidays. You will be responsible for moving stock from Receiving to the Inventory warehouse floor, ensuring both efficiency and safety. The position reports directly to the Inventory Manager or Outbound Manager.
Responsibilities
–Stock Movement: Transfer stock from Receiving to Inventory.
–Put-Away: Accurately and promptly allocate received inventory into the warehouse.
–Replenishment: Refill stock in the picking area.
–Bulk Picking Assistance: Support pickers by delivering correct items and quantities to the checking bay.
–Stocktaking: Assist the Inventory team with stock audits.
–Equipment Check: Complete daily Reach Truck checklist before operation.
–Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, optimizing space utilization.
–Damage Reporting: Report any damages immediately.
–Communication: Coordinate with supervisors and co-workers.
–Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety standards.
–Heavy Lifting: Handle and move heavy products as required.
–Product Knowledge: Build and maintain knowledge to ensure accurate picking and packing.
–Scanner Operation: Use a scanner to track and record inventory movements.
–Efficiency: Work efficiently, especially during peak periods.
Requirements
–Experience: Proven experience as a Reach Truck Driver.
–Certification: Valid Reach Truck operating license.
–Physical Fitness: Ability to handle heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods.
–Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in inventory allocation and stock replenishment.
–Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
–Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
–Flexibility: Willingness to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
