Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Funeral Undertaker to join our team at the Pretoria Preparation Centre in Pretoria West. This position offers the opportunity to work in the funeral environment, conducting funerals and cremations with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct funerals and cremations
- Prepare and care for the remains of the deceased
- Ensure the quality and condition of funeral equipment
- Execute mortuary operations including coffining and embalming
- Maintain accurate funeral records
- Manage and maintain the fleet of vehicles
- Ensure the mortuary is kept in a hygienic condition
- Assist with the preparation and repatriation of bodies for out-of-state burials
- Prepare the deceased for viewing and assist with collections
- Maintain and care for all equipment
- Uphold the image and standards of client service
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Valid driver’s license with PDP
Experience:
- 2 – 3 Years functional experience in the Funeral Industry
- Execution of Funerals
