Overview:
G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, is seeking a dedicated Driver (Cash in Transit) to join our operations in Port Elizabeth. This role reports to the Branch Manager and involves the guarding and handling of valuables in transit. The successful candidate must comply with all legal regulations and company policies, including the submission of a valid medical certificate for firearm use.
Responsibilities:
-Guard and handle valuables in transit between various locations.
-Drive the vehicle in compliance with all company procedures and traffic regulations.
-Maintain vehicle standards and ensure all equipment is in working order.
-Conduct vehicle audits and complete checklists.
-Be responsible for all technology and equipment used in the vehicle.
-Inspect the vehicle at the end of each duty.
-Report all incidents to the branch and relevant authorities.
-Perform control functions for scheduled trips and comply with operational instructions.
-Maintain security awareness and take preventative action if suspicious activity is noticed.
-Participate in safety forums and report all safety incidents.
-Attend safety education and refresher programs.
-Comply with all safety policies and procedures, wearing protective clothing at all times.
Requirements:
-Grade 12 certificate.
-Valid PSIRA Certification.
-Valid PDP License.
-CIT Certificate.
-Valid SAPS Firearm Competency for Business Purposes.
-Ability to work under pressure in a high-risk, fast-paced environment.
-Strong risk assessment skills and the ability to act swiftly.
-Team-oriented with adherence to policies and procedures.
