Minimum Requirements
– Education: Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
– Experience: At least 1 year of working experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the hospitality industry.
– License: Valid motorcycle license (Code A1).

- Basic math and computer literacy.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Attributes:
- Hardworking, honest, and self-motivated.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to “get things done.”
- Residing in or near Mahikeng will be advantageous.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
Key Responsibilities
– Safe Driving: Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while delivering orders, ensuring safety is always prioritized.
– Timely Deliveries: Ensure that all food orders are delivered to customers promptly.
– Order Accuracy: Verify that all orders are correct before leaving the restaurant, ensuring any special customer requests are fulfilled.
– Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly attitude, address any concerns, and answer questions.
– Payment Handling: Accept cash or electronic payments and provide accurate change or transaction confirmation when necessary.
– Assist in Restaurant: Help with packaging orders, cleaning, or stocking when not on deliveries.
– Delivery Log: Maintain an accurate log of deliveries, including any issues, payments received, and mileage (if applicable).
– Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues promptly.
– Problem Solving: Handle delivery-related problems, such as delays, incorrect addresses, or complaints, with professionalism and in coordination with the restaurant.
– Team Collaboration: Work closely with restaurant staff and other drivers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
