Overview
Glencore Holdings South Africa is seeking a motivated Business Development Analyst to join our dedicated team. This role involves working on mergers and acquisitions as well as general business development within our Ferroalloys and Coal South Africa divisions.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Conduct strategic analysis and valuation, manage transactions, and participate in negotiations.
- Mergers, Acquisitions, and Disposals: Oversee and analyze due diligence processes, financial modeling, and transaction structuring.
- Life of Assets: Perform financial modeling, evaluations, and presentations.
- Offtake Arrangements: Structure offtakes and lending arrangements, evaluate opportunities, and develop strategic plans and documentation.
Requirements
- Qualifications: CA(SA) or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., engineering degree).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in investment banking, corporate finance, or structured finance.
- Prior experience in business development within the mining industry is beneficial.
