Overview:
Goldstar Trucking is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lowbed Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. This position requires a reliable individual with a strong knowledge of the Western Cape area and a proven track record of handling heavy machinery transport.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a 30-ton lowbed truck to transport various machinery, including forklifts and TLBs.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and clients.
Requirements:
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s License with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Personal transportation to and from work.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a 30-ton lowbed truck.
- Familiarity with the roads and areas within the Western Cape.
- Must exclusively be a lowbed driver; applications from Super-Link, Tautliner, or other types of drivers will not be considered.
