Position Overview:
Homeland College invites applications for the position of Registrar who will also serve as Deputy Principal. The successful candidate will play a vital role in overseeing the college’s administration, academic programs, and strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the institution’s strategies, policies, and academic programs.
- Provide leadership and coordinate secretarial services for the institution’s main committees.
- Ensure compliance with tertiary education accreditation standards and governance structures.
- Manage student services and enhance the overall academic experience.
- Oversee the institution’s administration and operations at a senior level.
- Leverage ICT tools for efficient reporting and academic writing.
- Represent the institution in public relations and protocol matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BOA accreditation as an assessor and moderator.
- Master’s degree in Commerce or Education.
- At least 10 years of administration experience in tertiary education institutions, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of the tertiary education landscape, accreditation standards, and student services.
- Practical experience with ICT, report writing, and academic documentation.
- Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of public relations and protocol.
