Homemade Crispy Bread

Ingredients:

-400 ml warm milk

-12 g yeast (1 tablespoon)

-1 tablespoon sugar

-30 g melted butter

-600 g wheat flour

-8 g salt (1 teaspoon)

-15 g extra wheat flour for dusting

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well until fully blended.
  2. Add the flour and salt, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough until it becomes soft and smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into two portions, then split each into 6 pieces. Shape the pieces and let them rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Make small cuts in the top of each piece. Optionally, brush with egg yolk and butter for a golden finish.
  6. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) and bake for 25 minutes.
