Position Overview:
Iktara Infotech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their accounting team. This entry-level role is perfect for fresh graduates or individuals with up to three years of accounting experience. The successful candidate will assist with financial and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the company’s day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing and recording financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain and update financial databases and accounting software.
- Assist with invoicing, billing, and payment processing.
- Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: AAT qualification (Association of Accounting Technicians) is required.
- Experience: 0-3 years of experience in an accounting role (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Skills:
- Basic proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
