The Chief Directorate: Trauma, Violence, and EMS is offering an exciting internship opportunity in Pretoria. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Microbiology or Biomedical Science. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R7,043.31.
Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Microbiology or Biomedical Science.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent planning and organizing abilities.
Duties:
- Manage the import and export of biological materials.
- Conduct inspections of laboratories, including tissue banks.
- Gather information on international standards for establishing pathological laboratories, tissue banks, and other human tissue-related banks.
- Verify registration of the Principal Investigator/Medical Specialist with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
