Overview
Interstate Bus Lines is currently seeking qualified and reliable Bus Drivers to join our team in the Bloemfontein, Botshabelo, and Thaba Nchu areas. This full-time, permanent position offers a market-related salary and is open to all applicants who meet the necessary requirements.
Responsibilities
-Safely transport passengers to their destinations, ensuring punctuality and adherence to schedules.
-Issue tickets and accurately collect fares from passengers.
-Ensure compliance with all safety regulations concerning driving and passenger safety.
-Assist passengers with any needs they may have during their journey.
-Perform routine duties and complete daily cash-up procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification of Grade 8 or equivalent.
- Valid Code EC / EC1 0,4 / C driver’s license.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) is essential.
- At least 2 years of experience driving buses or other heavy vehicles.
- Strong numerical skills for fare collection and cash-up processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a good employment history.
- Ability to work shifts, demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness.
- Good physical health is required.
- Willingness to relocate to Bloemfontein, Botshabelo, or Thaba Nchu.
