Overview

FNB Botswana is seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to lead the IT audit team, ensuring robust risk management and control over IT systems, platforms, general IT controls, CAATs, projects, and continuous auditing processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead and manage the IT audit team to provide assurance on IT risk management and controls.

-Deliver an excellent audit client experience aligned with FNB Botswana’s values and service standards.

-Build professional and long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

-Analyse customer feedback to improve audit services and business decisions.

-Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements.

-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes, industry best practices, and internal compliance.

-Develop and implement governance and compliance procedures in line with risk management standards.

-Provide business intelligence insights through data analysis and trend monitoring.

-Prepare and present reports on audit findings, risks, and compliance gaps.

-Manage team performance, coaching, and professional development initiatives.

-Ensure all employees develop and implement personal development plans.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification.

5 to 8 years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or a related field.

Key Skills & Competencies

-Strong data analytics skills and familiarity with data analytics tools/software.

-Proficiency in SAP software audits.

-Excellent team leadership and time management skills.

-Ability to manage conflicts and present audit findings effectively.

-Analytical with a keen attention to detail.

Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work in an agile environment.

-Strong communication and public speaking skills.
