1. Debtors Assistant

Department: Finance
Reporting To: Debtors Controller
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 31 January 2025

Purpose:
Support the Debtors Controller in managing debt collection, invoicing, and account maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact debtors for outstanding payments and resolve queries.
  • Process payment arrangements and maintain accurate debtor records.
  • Distribute statements and invoices to members.
  • Complete vendor application forms and provide audit documentation.
  • Act as an understudy to the Debtors Controller.

Requirements:

  • Education: Matric Certificate; Diploma in Accounting or N6 in Financial Management/Accounting.
  • Experience: 2–3 years in finance or debtor management.
  • Skills: Analytical skills, accounting systems proficiency, and reconciliation expertise.

2. Debtors Controller

Department: Finance
Reporting To: Finance Manager
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 31 January 2025

Purpose:
Ensure accurate capturing of payments, handle member account queries, and manage debtors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank statements and post payments to member accounts.
  • Process journals, credit notes, and manual invoices.
  • Prepare year-end invoices and collection progress reports.
  • Manage the debtors’ inbox and address member queries.
  • Assist in risk management and audit processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Matric Certificate; Diploma in Accounting.
  • Experience: 2–3 years in debtors control.
  • Skills: Communication, analytical abilities, and financial reporting knowledge.

3. Training & Assessment Manager

Department: Education, Training, and Membership
Reporting To: Senior Manager: Members
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 13 February 2025

Purpose:
Manage the accreditation, training, and assessment processes for learners, trainees, and higher education institutions, ensuring compliance with SAIPA policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accreditation of training centres and learnership programmes.
  • Administer assessment processes, including exams and results management.
  • Approve Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) applications.
  • Represent SAIPA in forums and committees related to training and education.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Education Management and Education Legislation.
  • Experience: Practical experience in trainee administration and compliance.
  • Knowledge: Technical understanding of legislative compliance within education and assessments.
