The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate counting, verification, and reconciliation of clients’ money in a secure and high-pressure environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Count and verify large volumes of cash received from clients
- Operate cash counting machines efficiently
- Adhere strictly to all cash processing procedures and security protocols
- Balance and reconcile cash received at end of shift
- Prepare and pack Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) as required
- Support the branch in maintaining accurate and secure money-handling operations
Requirements and Skills:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a cashier or in a similar cash-handling role will be an advantage but not required
- Clear criminal record
- Computer literate and familiar with money counting systems
- Strong numeric skills and high attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions accurately and maintain alertness under pressure
- Must be honest, reliable, and self-motivated
- Good verbal communication and language skills
- Willingness to work overtime when required
