Overview:
The Department of Employment and Labour is recruiting 10 Client Service Officers across multiple Labour Centres in the Eastern Cape. The Client Service Officer will serve as the first point of contact for clients entering the Labour Centre. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that clients receive efficient support, accurate information, and quality service related to Employment Services, Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), and Compensation Fund (COIDA). Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, knowledgeable in labour legislation, and capable of delivering a professional and client-focused service experience.
Salary: R269,499 per annum

Minimum Requirements:
- Matriculation / Grade 12
- Knowledge of Labour Legislation and Regulations
- Public Service Regulations, Policies, and Procedures
- Employment Agency regulations and relevant ILO conventions
- Understanding of COIDA and the Public Service Act

- Maintain accurate client service records
- Ensure efficient processing of claims and compliance documentation
