1) Senior Sous Chef โ€” Onrus Manor (Hermanus)

Type: Full-time ยท Dept: Restaurant & Catering

2) Waiter โ€” Heritage Manor & Bridgewater Manors (Somerset West)

Type: Full-time ยท Dept: Restaurant & Catering
Role focus: Fine service to residents/guests; set & turn tables; maintain hygiene; menu knowledge; serve food & beverages; handle complaints; assist with stock audits; restock bar; accurate billing; groomed & professional.
Youโ€™ll need: Prior waiter experience (bartending/barista is a plus); excellent customer service; teamwork; basic wine & service etiquette.
Comp: Competitive salary incl. time-and-a-half Sundays, double public holidays, quarterly performance bonus (discretionary).

Youโ€™ll need: Prior caring experience (frail, dementia, palliative); acknowledged Carer training/SETA advantage; compassion, stamina, professionalism, teamwork.
Hours & Pay: 16.25 shifts/month, 19:00โ€“07:00; basic salary plus Sunday/public holiday rates & short-notice shift allowance.

5) Laundry Coordinator โ€” Temporary Contract โ€” Heritage Manor (Somerset West)

Type: Temp ยท Dept: Housekeeping
Role focus: Run linen room operations; hygiene & functionality; issue & route linen carts; manage soiled/clean flows & special treatments; coordinate service providers; condemn torn linen; inspect quality; weekly stock takes & par levels; reconcile invoices; daily productivity reports; process improvements.
Youโ€™ll need: Grade 12; 12+ months in similar role; inventory know-how; computer literacy; detail orientation; healthcare laundry experience advantageous.
Hours: Monโ€“Fri 07:00โ€“17:00, every 2nd Sat 07:00โ€“12:00; public holidays paid at time-and-a-half.

Scope: Head Office, 6 luxury villages, 6 healthcare centres (incl. 83-bed Tokai sub-acute & growing Somerset West unit), and Faircom ISP (~4,500 clients). Potential shareholding opportunity.
