Overview:
Parts Incorporated Africa is seeking a General Worker to join its warehouse operations team at the Riverhorse branch in Durban. This position involves general warehouse duties such as stock taking, binning, picking, packing, checking, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Binning & Inventory:
- Accurately bin incoming stock and replenish inventory between bulk and pick locations.
- Allocate new products to appropriate bin locations and report updates to the supervisor.
- Assist with inventory replenishment and ensure proper documentation and accuracy.
2. Picking & Packing:
- Pick customer and branch orders within the required timeframes.
- Prioritize picking from designated bins unless bulk is necessary due to stock depletion.
- Follow SOPs to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
3. Stock Control & Warehouse Maintenance:
- Participate in regular stock-taking and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Perform double checks to reduce inventory errors and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Consistently achieve operational performance targets.
4. Scanner Control:
- Issue and log scanners to operators daily using the electronic app.
- Conduct return inspections of scanners and report damages.
- Maintain and update the scanner control spreadsheet.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Minimum of 3 yearsโ experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (advantageous).
- Knowledge of motor spares, engine parts, and warehouse systems is desirable.

- Good communication and basic numeracy/literacy skills.
