What Is the JumpStart Retail Essentials Programme?
The Retail Essentials Programme (REP) is a 6-month learnership designed for youth between the ages of 18 and 33. It combines classroom-based theory with hands-on in-store training, helping you discover your strengths and develop practical skills to kickstart your retail career.
What Youโll Learn:
Participants will gain valuable insights into:
- Customer Experience & Communication
- Store Operations & Layout
- Marketing & Merchandising Basics
- Retail Product Knowledge
- Specialised Roles in Retail (e.g., cashiering, customer care)
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the programme, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be aged between 18โ33 years
- Have completed Matric with at least one Commerce subject
- Be currently unemployed
- Have no criminal record
