Northern Textile Mills (Nortex), a leading manufacturer of quality towels since 1990, invites applications from qualified Batswana candidates for the position of Accounts Clerk at our Francistown factory.
Job Purpose
The Accounts Clerk will play a vital role in assisting the management of financial transactions, providing clerical support to the accounting department, and ensuring the preparation and maintenance of accounting records and documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with managing and recording financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Support debtors and creditorsโ processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Qualifications: AAT or equivalent.
- Experience: 2โ3 years of proven accounting experience in debtors or creditors management.
- Skills:
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude for numbers and financial processes.
- Professional Registration: Candidates must be registered with the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA).
