Key Responsibilities:
-Provide direct support with patient hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
-Monitor and report patient comfort and emotional state to the nursing team
-Assist in implementing individual care plans in collaboration with medical staff
-Ensure patient dignity, privacy, and safety are upheld at all times
-Maintain cleanliness and assist with infection control standards
-Build positive, supportive relationships with patients and their families
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Accredited Care Worker qualification (essential)
- Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in a care or rehabilitation facility
- Experience in physical rehabilitation environments preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Emotional resilience, compassion, and a commitment to care ethics
