Overview

First National Bank (FNB) Lesotho is recruiting a high-performing Area Manager to lead strategic, financial, and operational goals across branches within a designated area. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the bankโ€™s business objectives, driving growth, ensuring superior customer service, and managing resources efficiently while maintaining risk controls and financial sustainability.


Key Responsibilities

-Manage the Areaโ€™s operations within the approved financial budget.

-Achieve and exceed revenue targets while identifying new income opportunities.

-Establish budgets and targets for various functional units while enhancing cost control and operational efficiency.

-Develop detailed business cases to promote growth strategies and defend market share.

-Ensure timely, accurate, and reliable financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.

-Drive Area profitability and increase market share through focused strategy execution.

-Understand and address customer needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

-Design and execute a sales and service strategy aligned with customer expectations and performance targets.


Requirements and Skills

-A bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.

-A post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.

-Minimum of 4โ€“5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or area management.

-Strong leadership, planning, and financial acumen.

-Proven ability to build and execute sales strategies.

-Solid understanding of market trends and customer behavior.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
