Overview
The KwaZulu-Natal College of Nursing invites applications for the 2026 Diploma in Nursing Programme. Minimum Entry Requirements
Pre-2008 Matric (Senior Certificate):
- Grade 12 (Std 10) โ Minimum 25 points (best 6 subjects).
- English: E (HG) or D (SG).
- Biology/Physics/Chemistry/Physiology: E (HG) or D (SG).
- Mathematics: E (HG) or D (SG).
From 2008 (National Senior Certificate):
- Diploma Pass or higher.
- Minimum 25 points (APS).
- English L4.
- Home Language/First Additional Language L3.
- Mathematics L3 or Mathematical Literacy L5.
- Life Science or Physical Science L4.
- Life Orientation L4 (not scored, but mandatory).
- Any other two subjects.
Required Documents for Online Application
- Certified copy of Matric Certificate.
- Certified copy of ID.
- Proof of residence or affidavit.
- Certified copies of highest qualifications.
- Signed affidavit (Commissioner of Oaths) confirming you are unemployed and have not benefited from the Department of Health bursary system at KZNCN.
