Overview
The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety invites young South Africans passionate about road safety and law enforcement to apply for the 2025 Traffic Officer Learnership Programme. This 12-month programme combines theoretical classroom training with practical field experience, equipping learners with the skills and qualification to become competent Traffic Officers.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in formal training and practical traffic law enforcement duties.
- Enforce road traffic regulations and promote road safety.
- Assist in traffic management and accident prevention initiatives.
- Work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
Entry Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Valid Code B (manual) driving licence.
- South African citizenship with a valid ID.
- Medically fit – proof via medical certificate required.
- No criminal record and not declared unfit to possess a firearm.
- No visible tattoos contrary to professional conduct.
- Willingness to undergo driving and competency tests.
