Overview
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for two Grants Administrator vacancies in the Northern Cape. Incumbents will provide front-line grants administration, quality control and customer care at local office level in line with legislative and policy requirements.
Key Responsibilities
-Administer Social Grants at local office level and provide customer care.
-Effectively screen, receive and assess grant applications.
-Capture applications on the system and process supporting documentation.
-Perform other grants administration functions as allocated.
-Conduct quality control on grant applications and ensure compliance with PFMA Section 57 (Chapter 6, Part 3).
-Provide off-site grants application services when required.
Requirements & Skills
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in a relevant field.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Added advantage: Valid driverโs licence and/or administrative/clerical experience.
- Strong communication, accuracy, customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary: R228 321 โ R268 950 per annum (exclusive of benefits).
- Government benefits as per SASSA policies.
