Overview

Tataki Mine invites applications from qualified candidates for the role of Plant Maintenance Fitter. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant mechanical equipment to ensure uninterrupted and efficient mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

-Conduct both scheduled and emergency equipment repairs.

-Perform mechanical maintenance on plant systems.

-Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults.

-Assemble and install new mechanical equipment and components.

-Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures.

-Collaborate with the team to plan and execute maintenance tasks efficiently.

-Maintain documentation related to equipment maintenance and repairs.

Requirements and Skills

-National Craft Certificate (NCC) or a recognised Mechanical Fitter qualification.

-At least three (3) years of plant maintenance experience.

-Sound understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.

-Knowledge of mining operations is essential.

-Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.

-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

-Excellent adherence to safety and health standards.
