Overview

Applications are invited for large-scale Internship opportunities across labour inspections (OHS, BCEA, EEA, Employer Audit Services) and corporate services (HR, ER, Training & Performance, Organisational Development, Policy & Research, EHWP, GDY, COO Offices). Interns will receive structured workplace exposure, administration experience, and learning support aligned to each function.

    Key Duties: Assist with OHS Act inspections, incident/complaint investigations, enforcement support, and reporting.

    Qual: Public Administration & Management/Project Management/Statistics.
    Duties: Alignment of strategic plans, planning/monitoring & evaluation, governance structures, performance reporting, SDI implementation.

    Qual: Operations Mgmt/Business/Public Admin & Mgmt.
    Duties: SDIP, Batho Pele, service standards, complaints analysis.

    Qual: Public/Business Administration, Office Mgmt & Technology, Management Assistant, Business Mgmt.
    Duties: Admin support, document control, SCM and budget support for the DDG office.

    Qual: LLB/Labour Relations/Labour Law.
    Duties: Open misconduct/grievance files, compile stats, source case law, analyse cases, admin support.

    Duties: Facilitate performance agreements/assessments, PERSAL capturing, PMDS secretariat, procurement/admin support, coordinate training, assist with WSP/QMR/ATR, bursary admin, training database.

    Qual: HR Management (NQF6/7).
    Duties: Support Recruitment & Selection and Service Benefits functions.

Minimum Entry Requirements (all streams)

  • Relevant National Diploma (NQF6) / Bachelorโ€™s Degree (NQF7) as specified per stream.
  • Computer literacy and strong administrative ability.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
