Role Purpose
The Stock Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate stock administration, maintaining an up-to-date Stock Ledger, and supporting excellent customer service within the store. You will be part of a dynamic Admin Team that focuses on stock accuracy, stock movement control, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
-Analyse and resolve discrepancies in the Stock Ledger
-Ensure all stock movements are recorded timeously and accurately
-Capture all Service Department production on Blue Cube
-Maintain in-stock status at all times
-Perform daily management receiving checks
-Support overall admin processes to ensure smooth store operations
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
–Matric / National Senior Certificate
Advantageous:
-Admin or Sales Management training
-Trainee Manager Training
-Cost Control Diploma
Experience
-1โ2 years relevant experience
-Retail or furniture industry experience advantageous
-6โ12 months knowledge of Furniture Retail operations will be beneficial
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong administrative and stock control understanding
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a busy retail environment
- Knowledge of Blue Cube (advantageous)
