Overview
Government Cleaners are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in designated workplace areas. This includes daily cleaning tasks, waste disposal, sanitation, and maintaining general orderliness.

Key Responsibilities
-Perform general housekeeping duties: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting
-Clean and sanitise offices, restrooms, kitchens, corridors, and meeting rooms
-Empty and clean waste bins; remove rubbish
-Wipe and polish mirrors, glass, and windows
-Maintain cleanliness in common areas (stairs, hallways, entrances, lobbies)
-Follow departmental cleaning procedures and safety protocols
-Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
-Use cleaning materials, tools, and equipment responsibly
-Report broken equipment or shortages of cleaning supplies
Minimum Requirements
–Grade 9 / ABET Level 1โ4 / Grade 10 (depending on the department)
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Good physical stamina; can handle manual labour
-Good communication and organisational skills
-Knowledge of cleaning chemicals/equipment is an advantage
-Ability to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required
