Position Details
Post Title: Road Worker
Total Positions: 18
Salary: R12,929 per month (Level 03)

Minimum Requirements
-NQF Level 1 (Grade 5+) or ABET Level 2 Certificate
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work well in a team
-Accuracy and attention to detail
-Basic computer literacy
-Good planning and organisational abilities
Key Responsibilities
As a Road Worker, your duties may include:
-Building culverts and side drains
-Installing and maintaining steel guardrails and gabions
-Road earthworks and layer construction
-Cleaning and maintaining roads, sidewalks and rest areas
-Road surfacing repairs and pothole patching
-Marking roads and installing road studs and signs
-Setting up barricades and warning devices
-Grass cutting, brush clearing and fencing repairs
