Learnership Overview

ArcelorMittal South Africa is offering a 36-month Production Learnership for individuals who want to develop skills to qualify as Process Operators within a steel manufacturing environment.

Learners will enter into a structured training programme that includes:

  • Institutional training
  • On-the-job learning
  • Regular assessments and competency evaluations

A training contract will apply, and while employment after completion is not guaranteed, learners will gain highly valuable industry skills.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have completed Grade 12 with:

  • English: Minimum 45%
  • Mathematics: Minimum 40% OR Mathematics Literacy: Minimum 50%
  • Must be South African youth under the age of 35 (preference applies)
