Overview:
FNB Botswana is recruiting four skilled and customer-oriented Service Consultants to join its Student Banking team in Serowe and Palapye on a six-month fixed-term contract. This role is focused on delivering excellent service to customers through multiple channels, ensuring smooth processing of customer requests, and supporting the bankโs broader cost efficiency and growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver exceptional customer service through face-to-face, telephonic, and digital platforms.
-Facilitate timely and accurate processing of customer requests and queries.
-Understand customer needs and provide solutions aligned with service standards.
-Engage professionally with internal and external customers in accordance with FNBโs service protocols.
-Support cost management and revenue recovery initiatives within budget parameters.
-Stay informed on the latest trends in banking, especially in Mortgage Lending and Student Banking services.
-Maintain expert knowledge of products, pricing structures, application procedures, and processing timelines.
-Build and maintain productive relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
-Ensure all administrative processes are accurately completed and systems are kept up to date.
-Prioritize and manage incoming requests with urgency and precision.
-Execute tasks and projects aligned with the bankโs strategic objectives and performance metrics.
-Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and legislative requirements.
-Fulfill operational duties according to SLAs and documented internal processes.
Requirements and Skills:
-Experience in a customer-facing or banking environment is advantageous.
-Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-A commitment to delivering customer service excellence.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
-Solid understanding of banking operations and compliance expectations.
-Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
