The Limpopo Department of Education invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for Driver/Messenger positions (33 posts) across various Special Schools in the province. These are permanent Public Service Act posts.

Annual Salary: R193 359 per annum
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid Code 10 driverโs licence with PDP
- 3 yearsโ bus driving experience will be an added advantage
- Driverโs competency test will be conducted before appointment
Key Duties
-Transport learners to and from Special Schools following designated routes and schedules
-Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
-Assist learners during loading and off-loading
-Communicate with learners, parents, and school staff
-Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle
-Conduct daily operational and safety inspections
-Report mechanical issues when necessary
-Perform required safety drills
-Deliver and collect documents, mail, and packages
-Purchase and load equipment and groceries when required
-Take learners to clinics and hospitals when needed
-Plan and follow efficient routes
-Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels
-Complete all required logs and record-keeping
-Assist with general office tasks when required
-Interact professionally with clients and stakeholders
