Introduction
Eskom is recruiting 10 Hospitality Learners for a 24-month Fixed-Term Contract at the Eskom Academy of Learning, Midrand.
This learnership provides hands-on training in kitchen operations, food production, administration, customer service, and hospitality standards.
Successful candidates will work closely with the Executive Chef and the Hospitality Department to support daily kitchen and service operations.
Position/Task Grade: L06
Area of Specialisation: Assist the Executive Chef with full kitchen, admin, and operational duties

Key Responsibilities
๐ฝ๏ธ Food Production & Operations
โข Prepare and produce meals according to set standards
โข Maintain high food quality and presentation
โข Assist in menu planning and conceptualising new ideas
๐ฆ Stock Control & Admin
โข Monitor, record, and control stock usage
โข Assist with administrative duties in line with ISO standards
โข Support cost-control processes and maintain required ratios
๐ฅ Customer Service & Support
โข Provide excellent hospitality service to internal and external clients
โข Support special events and catering functions
โข Maintain professional service and communication at all times
๐ก๏ธ Safety, Hygiene & Compliance
โข Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene requirements
โข Participate in internal ISO processes and maintain cleanliness standards
