Position Overview

Job Title: Coach (Bus) Driver

• Salary: Market-related (aligned with long-distance coach driver roles)

Key Responsibilities

Successful Coach Drivers will be responsible for:

• Operating long-distance luxury coaches safely and responsibly
• Ensuring full compliance with road traffic laws and transport regulations
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Transporting passengers according to scheduled routes and timetables
• Delivering a professional and courteous customer experience
• Managing passenger safety during boarding, travel, and disembarkation
• Reporting vehicle defects, incidents, or delays to management
• Maintaining accurate trip and logbook records

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• South African citizen
  Required for employment and compliance purposes.
• Valid RSA Code 14 / EC Driver’s Licence
  Mandatory for operating large passenger vehicles.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
  Must be current and legally valid.
• Minimum 3 years’ long-distance driving experience
  Experience in passenger transport is essential.
• Good driving record
  Safety and reliability are critical in this role.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Strong sense of responsibility and customer service
