Programme Overview
Capitec Bank is building a Bank Better Champion Learnership Pipeline across multiple provinces for motivated young individuals who are passionate about service in the banking environment. This learnership is designed to equip participants with practical workplace experience, banking knowledge, and service consulting skills, preparing them for future opportunities within branch operations.
As a Bank Better Champion Learner, you will be the first point of contact for clients, supporting efficient branch flow, assisting customers with self-service channels, and delivering excellent client service while learning how a modern retail bank operates.
Purpose of the Role
- Welcome and assist clients in the branch environment
- Coordinate branch queues and manage client flow efficiently
- Assist clients at ATMs and self-service banking channels
- Support transactions on remote and digital banking platforms
- Gain the knowledge, skills, and experience required for Service Consultant roles
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (Essential)
- No previous work experience required
- South African citizen
- Willingness to learn and build a career in banking
Ideal Experience
- Some client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
Knowledge Requirements
Minimum:
- Basic calculations
- Ability to engage confidently with people
- Clear understanding of personal career goals
- Ambitious, motivated, and eager to learn
Ideal:
- Understanding of a bank branch environment
- Knowledge of Capitec Bank products and internal processes
