Overview:

Transnet Freight Rail is recruiting General Workers on a fixed-term contract to support railway maintenance and construction operations. The role focuses on assisting technical teams on-site and ensuring general operational support is carried out safely and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 9 and/or 6 months relevant experience
• Physically fit (medical examination required)
• Safety conscious
• Able to communicate in English

Key Duties:

• Assist RME Construction teams during maintenance and construction works
• Loading and offloading materials
• Cleaning sites and removing rubble
• Use of hand tools (non-mechanised)
• General worker duties as assigned
