Overview

AfriSam (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd, a leading supplier of construction-related materials including Cement, Aggregate and Readymix Concrete, is offering a Learnership 18.2 opportunity for an aspiring Fitter.

This programme is aimed at unemployed youth who are technically inclined and interested in building a career in the engineering and mining sector. The successful candidate will be required to sign a Section 18.2 Learnership Agreement, which will be registered with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).

This opportunity offers valuable workplace exposure and practical training within a reputable organisation operating across Southern Africa.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be unemployed and meet one of the following qualifications:

Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics (not Maths Literacy), Physical Science and English (all subjects passed), or
N2 Certificate including four relevant subjects: Mathematics, Engineering Science and two trade-related subjects, or
Relevant Engineering NCV Certificate with seven subjects at NQF Level 4, or
Technical Grade 11 with Mathematics, Science, Language and related trade theory subject, or
Relevant N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S or N stream) directly related to the trade

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous
