The Stores Learnership Programme offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in retail. This programme provides structured training and practical workplace experience, allowing learners to be cross-trained to operate both on the sales floor and at the service desk.
Learners will gain valuable retail skills, including customer service, merchandising, point-of-sale operations, and stock management. The programme requires commitment to learning, completion of logbooks, and successful participation in assessments to be deemed competent as a cross-trained Sales Consultant.
What You Will Learn
-Assist customers in locating merchandise
-Process payments and purchases on the POS system
-Open new customer accounts
-Merchandise the store according to MBP principles
-Maintain and control stock losses
-Build strong customer relationships
-Ensure customer safety and security
-Prepare for and complete required assessments
-Work a minimum of 120 hours as part of the programme
