- Checkout Assistant
- Shelfpacker: Wine, Groceries, General Merchandise, Perishables, Clothing
- Warehouse/Stockroom Assistant
- Service Area Assistant: Bakery, Butchery, Deli, Fruit & Veg, Cheese
- Production Assistant
- Blockman
Responsibilities
-Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
-Maintain shelves by stocking products, checking expiry dates, and rotating older stock to the front
-Ensure the store and displays remain clean, safe, and well-organized
-Follow store procedures for handling products, pricing, and stock movement
-Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in service areas
-Provide accurate information about products and assist with queries
-Support team members and uphold Pick n Payโs customer-first culture
-Prevent product damage, theft, and waste by following standard operating procedures
What Weโre Looking For
-Young people who are currently unemployed
-Strong communication skills
-A passion for customer service
-A willingness to work hard and grow in a retail environment
-Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
-Alignment with Pick n Payโs values and commitment to excellence
-Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
Minimum Requirements
-South African citizen
-Aged between 18 and 35 years
-Minimum of Grade 10โ12 (depending on the role)
-No criminal record
-Willingness to learn and grow within the company
