Overview

Shoprite, in partnership with the Youth Employment Service (YES), is offering a Retail Readiness Programme (RRP) aimed at empowering unemployed South African youth with the foundational skills needed for a successful career in the retail sector. This programme is ideal for individuals who have no prior work experience and are eager to enter the job market.

The programme consists of three weeks of theoretical training followed by four weeks of in-store practical experience, preparing learners to confidently take on retail roles in various store formats.

Who Can Apply?

-South African citizens aged 18 to 34 years

-Individuals with no prior work experience

-Applicants who meet the education and availability criteria below

Minimum Requirements

–Grade 10 pass or equivalent (Matric is advantageous but not required)

-Willingness to learn and commit to the full duration of the programme

-Must be currently unemployed and not studying full-time

What Youโ€™ll Gain
