Overview:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is hiring experienced Cashiers at their Rustenburg North store. The ideal candidate will support customer service excellence at the point of sale and ensure a professional and accurate shopping experience. This role requires someone with previous till operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work retail hours.
Key Responsibilities:
-Handle all point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently
-Maintain strong customer service standards according to Dis-Chem policies
-Process various payment types (cash, cards, vouchers, loyalty cards, etc.)
-Manage all cash and ensure secure till operations
-Report customer feedback and security concerns to supervisors
-Ensure correct handling of returns, price overrides, and voids with supervisor approval
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of in-store promotions and loyalty programs
-Adhere to Dis-Chemโs security and confidentiality procedures
-Recognize and report suspicious activities
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum 6 months’ experience as a cashier or till operator
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Willingness to work retail hours
- Basic customer service skills

Conditions of Employment:
- Must be willing to work retail hours including weekends and holidays
- Must reside in or have transport to Rustenburg
