Overview
DHL Group is offering an exciting opportunity for unemployed South African youth to participate in its Learnership Programme for 2025 / 2026. Successful candidates will be enrolled in the Clearing and Forwarding Agent NQF Level 5 Learnership for a period of 12 months.
This programme is designed to equip learners with theoretical knowledge in freight forwarding and customs clearing, alongside practical, real-world exposure to logistics operations within a global industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
-Support import/export processes under direct supervision to ensure optimized service and performance.
-Handle documentation tasks such as receiving, reconciling, and summarizing records and information.
-Assist in maintaining operational systems as instructed.
-Perform general back-office duties including scanning, filing, and reporting.
-Follow established procedures and systems for completing assigned tasks.
-Work primarily with internal team members and maintain cooperative work relationships.
-Communicate routine information with minimal explanation required.
-Address work-related issues appropriately and professionally.
Requirements and Skills
-Must have completed Grade 12 / Matric with English.
-Must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
-Must be a South African citizen.
-Must be currently unemployed and not enrolled in any form of study.
-Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office) is advantageous.
