Overview

Colgate-Palmolive invites recent graduates to apply for its Human Resources Graduate Trainee Programme based at the companyโ€™s Midrand office. This opportunity offers comprehensive exposure across various HR functions within a global FMCG environment, including Talent Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Engagement, and Change Management.


Key Responsibilities

-Assist with the full Talent Acquisition and requisition process.

-Prepare documentation for Employee Relations and HR communications.

-Coordinate onboarding and career development initiatives.

-Support the preparation for SOX audits and BBBEE certification.

-Coordinate annual learning and development activities, including learnerships.

-Manage training logistics and administration.

-Provide administrative support to the Compensation and Benefits team.

-Maintain, update, and securely store personnel records.

-Collaborate with HR Business Partners on culture and engagement initiatives.

-Generate and improve HR reports and analytics based on business needs.

-Contribute to and help manage the Graduate Programme.


Entry Requirements

  • BCom Degree or Honours in:
    • Human Resources
    • Industrial Psychology
    • Law
  • Previous work experience is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to work in teams.
  • Excellent planning, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks under pressure.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
