Overview

Transnet Freight Rail is recruiting 2 Squad Supervisors to oversee civil maintenance and construction teams.

This role is suitable for experienced construction workers with leadership abilities and knowledge of building trades.

Minimum Requirements

-Minimum Grade 10

-Minimum 1 year relevant experience as General Worker L2

-Comfortable working at heights

-Knowledge of building trades

-Knowledge of construction tools and scaffolding

-Leadership and communication skills

-Physically fit and safety conscious

Key Responsibilities

-Supervise general worker teams

-Allocate daily tasks and tools

-Ensure safe working procedures are followed

-Assist with team administration

-Train and transfer skills to team members
