Overview
Multiple South African government departments are hiring reliable and hardworking individuals for Cleaner positions across various offices and facilities. Cleaners will play a vital role in maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and a professional work environment for both staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
-Sanitize restrooms, meeting rooms, and common areas.
-Empty and clean waste bins, and manage general waste disposal.
-Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, and windows.
-Maintain cleanliness of stairwells, lobbies, and corridors.
-Follow departmental cleaning schedules and safety protocols.
-Handle cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly.
Entry Requirements
-Minimum Grade 9 (ABET Level 4) or higher.
-Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is an advantage.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour.
-Good interpersonal and communication skills.
-Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
-Basic knowledge of cleaning materials and safety standards.
