Overview
Clicks Group is hiring 8 Shop Assistant / Cashiers across multiple locations in South Africa. These roles are focused on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring efficient point-of-sale operations, and maintaining merchandising standards that enhance the customer shopping experience.


Key Responsibilities

-Execute all point-of-sale (POS) operational activities efficiently and accurately.

-Scan merchandise, collect payments, and process ClubCard rewards.

-Safely handle cash and adhere to cash handling procedures.

-Promote and enroll new ClubCard members to meet participation targets.

-Inform customers about promotions to boost sales.

-Deliver exceptional customer service as a visible brand ambassador.

-Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards according to company guidelines.

-Stay updated on products, promotions, and events to assist customers effectively.


Requirements & Skills

Minimum Education:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) essential.
  • Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level desirable.

Experience:

  • Desirable: Previous customer-facing experience in retail or FMCG.

Knowledge:

-Basic maths and numeracy.

-Retail/FMCG operations and merchandising principles.

-Stock management procedures.

-Customer service best practices.
